Lebron James pinky toe

Many patients present to our offices with pinky toe pain, calluses and deformed digits.  These may seem like small problems but can cause big troubles.  Painful toe deformities can be corrected with very simple surgeries that are performed on an outpatient basis.

One of the classic stories we get in the office is "I was walking barefoot in the dark and I hit my pinky toe on the nightstand." Toe injuries cause swelling and pain which results in difficulty walking.  My tip is to tape the pinky toe to the other toe -- this will decrease swelling, pain and immobilize the toe.
